CRCs manage day-to-day study operations at hospitals, sites, or CROs:
- Study Planning & Preparation: Support protocol/CRF readiness and IRB/ethics submissions.
- Participant Recruitment & Consent: Screen, schedule, and obtain informed consent ethically.
- Data Collection & Management: Record treatments, track AEs, and ensure accurate CRF/EDC entry.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Uphold protocol, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication & Coordination: Liaise with investigators, sponsors, vendors, and participants.
- Reporting: Submit timely progress/safety reports and document deviations.
- Training & Supervision: Onboard and guide study staff on workflows and systems.
